Coming from a small town in Ontario strawberry season has always been pretty special to me. I remember being a kid wandering around in strawberry fields with the sweltering June sun beating down on me, trying to fill baskets faster than my cousins. Each year when the local strawberries start showing up at the market I try to do something fun. A couple years back I hosted a dinner party where each guest had to create a dish with strawberries as one of the main ingredients. Gina’s Strawberry Salsa completely rocked my world that night.
