I feel very blessed this summer, even though the weather has been less than perfect, I always seem get sunny warm mornings for sessions. Asher was all smiles this morning. We had a great time playing in the park with his dog Clancy. I loved having a dog at the shoot! Anyone who has a summer session with me please feel free to bring your dog! I am a huge dog lover and don’t mind getting some puppy portraits for you!
I wasn’t able to post much last week, things were chaotic with sessions, The Lonely Robot Show and my Birthday! I’m probably the only person over thirty that still gets excited for their birthday, can’t help it. It’s pretty much my favourite day of the year. This year was great, after a long conversation with Carrie about how it’s sad to eat banana splits alone, here is our messenger conversation (meow = Carrie):

Meow says: ice cream

shannon says: there is no recipe for icecream. something i can make?

Meow says: hee! I would get a score bar and break it up and put it on top too

Meow says: like sprinkles

shannon says: i guess i could go to the place on college get one of those gigantic ones and eat it by myself

Meow says: sooo good

shannon says: that would be sad

Meow says: why sad? cause it would be gone at some point?

shannon says: no because getting icecream by yourself is sad

Meow says: I am a VERY sad person then, I do it everyday

I rounded up a few friends to enjoy banana splits with me at The Big Chill in Little Italy for my Birthday!

Oh, thanks to everyone who turned up to see The Lonely Robots Show!! It was a huge success with between 400-500 people showing up for the opening Thursday night! Amazing!!
