My word it’s been a long time since I’ve made a post! Glad to be back! I fear I may have fallen into a bit of a rut this past month. Shooting multiple sessions a week all summer left me a wee bit uninspired and exhausted. Having worked in a creative field for many years and going to art school I am no stranger to the creative rut. I know that fighting it will only make it worse. Sometimes you just need to go with it until you get fresh ideas, or the guilt of spending every single waking hour on your couch watching EVERY single episode of Gossip Girl pushes you to get motivated. I really did have a nice relaxing break.

I read the The Sisters Antipodes. Now I’m making my way through a pile of Kundera.

I added new music to my itunes including this crazy cool song with this crazy cool video by Jenny Wilson.

I made this recipe. (and it totally rocked, thanks Yasmin at Le Sauce!!)

I looked at all kinds of photos hoping to get inspired. I noticed an underwater trend, these were the best of the underwater photos by Elena Kalis.

I also discovered Mercedes Helnwein. Her art is incredible but the fashion in her art is what really moved me!

Now I’m back at it and busy busy. Above is a shot of the models from Fancy Pants Kids, some kids just love the spotlight and the spotlight loves them back. Tristan kept saying it looks like we’re married while having his picture taken with Zoë. Now every time I look at the photos of them I think of that. Too frigging cute!
