It’s been a crazy fun week over here at Shannon Echlin Photography. I had my first article published on photographing children, babies and families: 10 Tips for Great Holiday Photos. I’ve also been working with Sharalee at A Life More Fabulous on compiling the perfect list of places to shop for your kids over the internet this Christmas. It’s pretty much a recap of all the artisans I’ve featured this year, but they are all wonderful and I’m glad to have had a chance to meet or at least chat with all of them at some point in 2009.  They are all local Toronto independent businesses run by women, most have their merchandise available in local stores as well. Above is Bookhou, they started out just as an internet shop but recently opened up a storefront on Dundas West. They have the most wonderful wooden furniture for children.
