Can you believe it’s 2010?? It seems like just yesterday I was stumbling around Montreal drunk and silly celebrating 2000. What an fantastic 10 years!  I’ve had lots of up and downs, tons of fun, left Canada and saw a bit of the world and worked harder than I was ever capable of 10 years ago. I managed to make it into my thirties intact, which is entirely good luck as far as I’m concerned. My twenties were colourful to say the least.

This year in particular has been one of my favorites of the decade. Starting my career as a photographer has been my dream since I was 13 years old. It was only in the past couple years that I developed the focus and dedication it took to start making it happen. But once I started I was amazed by the amount of time, research, and not to be cheesy but blood, sweat and tears it took to get this ship moving. It’s the hardest I’ve ever worked and I love it. I know this year is going to be even more amazing and I can’t wait to see a whole bunch more smiling little faces!!

So who is that cute little devil above you might ask? Back in June I mentioned my best friend Carrie, she was 7 months pregnant at the time. Well this was my absolute favorite part of 2009. Meet Emile, a total charmer who has completely won me over. Watching him grow has been incredible and seeing my best friend as a new mom has been really wonderful!
