This was a time in my life when I liked to stay up all night pretending to be the goth princess of darkness taking photos of myself.  Actually I have no idea what is going on here. I was probably just really stoned and whacked out on 5 pots of coffee with some seriously bad insomnia. At sixteen I spent a majority of my time imagining what it would be like to lose my virginity. I was kind of hoping it would be something like the scene from The Lost Boys when Jason Patrick and Jami Gertz hook up and they float through clouds and Cry Little Sister by Gerard McMann is playing in the background. I think that sort of explains this look? Maybe? I have no idea. Look at that ringlet, my god, It goes down to my ass.

2. Age: 18

Location: Everywhere Ontario

Profession: Dirt Bag

That lovely hair is a result of a summer of living in tents and hitch hiking to music festivals. When your hair is that dry from all the bleaching the best you can do is separate the clumps with the wire from twist ties. Plus, bingo dabber made streaking your hair a cinch.

3. Age: 19

Profession:  Photography Student at Sheridan College

I found this little gem a while back and thought. Is that me? For real? That can’t be me. I can’t believe I left the house looking like that. What am I even doing? Why am I posing like like John Travolta in Grease??? Why didn’t anyone intervene!!!

4. Age: 21

Location: Montreal (Verdun) QC

Profession: Looking for Scrap Metal to sell in my 1972 Mercury Montego Station Wagon.

I can sort of see the light at the end of the tunnel here. I look showered. That’s a step in the right direction for sure. My hair looks combed. Although, I’m wearing glasses purely for cosmetic reasons. That’s a bit weird. But overall this one is ok.
