Bored at work?? I’ve been there.

Hello friends, we are just so close to the weekend! Almost there! Just a few more hours to go!

A couple years back I worked in a cubicle. As it turns out the cubicle lifestyle didn’t quite fit for me. I sort of felt like I was grounded, but worse because not only was I supposed to sit in one spot for 8 hours 5 days a week, I had to get up at an ungodly hour, then squish onto a crowded street car for thirty minutes to get there and back. The first week of my job I told myself, it will get better, you’ll get used to it. After four years I HAD NOT GOTTEN USED TO IT!! But, I’d been there so long I wasn’t sure what life would be like outside the cubicle, it had become a comfortable cell, it paid the bills, came with nice people to complain with, it gave my day structure…

Then the lovely happy day came, I was marched down to a quiet, dark (yes dark) little board room. I was handed a folder that explained that they were going to still pay me for a few  months then they would help me get EI. Oh the JOY!! I felt like I’d won the lottery! What a perfect day that was! And here I am, still alive with all my rent and bills paid. Life is good.

Ok, so back to my life in the cubicle. I should let you know, this is not my first blog, oh no my friends there was another one back in the day. I shared it with my friend/school chum/cubicle mate Dena AKA Deaner. Here for your Friday afternoon entertainment is Life Inside the Cubicle.

While I was living the cubicle life I had a few go-to blogs that helped me pull through til 5pm.

This one here is people wearing strange outfits in Helsinki

This one here is really stupit people saying stuff in New York City

This one here is random confession via postcard

TGIF! Have a great Mothers Day Weekend everyone!
