Fall Sunshine
Has anyone noticed how lovely the sun has been lately? After so many weeks of cold and rain, I thought we were just going to sadly move into winter without those glorious days of fall with crisp mornings and afternoons with the sun bouncing of the golden leaves. But alas, they are here, in a year were the weather has made everything so enchanted I should have seen it coming.
Here is what I’ve been loving lately:
Wild Nothing somehow became the soundtrack to my summer, It’s not on constant repeat anymore but I still think it’s the best album I’ve heard in years.
Blogs I’m loving right now are: The Seventy Tree and an old fav that never gets tired is Fine Little Day their shop Studio Violet is also pretty amazing.
As for reading material a friend of mine Christopher Shulgan wrote an incredible book, Superdad: A Memoir of Rebellion, Drugs and Fatherhood. I devoured this book in two days. It’s beautifully written, I thought he was so brave to write such an honest book about addiction, parenthood, masculinity and domesticity. I know it’s cliche to say this but I really did laugh and cry a lot while reading this book. Weeks later it still has me thinking.
