For the past while I’ve been taking portraits of my friends. Well, I’ve always done that but lately I’ve been making a larger effort.

This is Nicole, I met her when we both worked for Fashion Magazine years ago. Since then she has moved to London England and back and has been staying with me since the fall. Back in November a strange fog covered Toronto and I having terrible insomnia at the time was up at 6:30am. It was beautiful and I knew Trinity Bellwoods Park would be a photographers dream. I woke Nicole up and convinced her to be my model. (What a good friend). These are some of the photos from that morning.

When I woke up this morning and saw Nicole was home, I realized this is her last weekend here. It’s a bit sad, I really enjoyed having her stay. Tomorrow we will celebrate with a jerk chicken Caribbean feast!
