That Baking Elf did it Again! Strawberry Rhubarb Pie with Crumble Topping!!
And this is the email my elf pal sent to explain how to make this happen:
the important thing is using the flaky butter crust pie dough recipe (linked in the post) !!
also i used 4 tbsp of cornstarch instead of the tapioca powder
For the topping:
1 1/3 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons Demerara sugar (or turbinado sugar aka Sugar in the Raw) ** i just used brown sugar
Zest of one lemon
1/4 pound (1 stick or 4 ounces) unsalted butter, melted
